The annual Liverpool Beatleweek celebrations culminate in the Sunday convention bringing together, at the Beatles birth place, fans from around the world. The world has changed since the last time that I attended, and understandably too, the event has been scaled back representing a more sober festival with fewer dealers and the presence of foreign accents largely absent from guests and attendees alike.
The good people that organise the convention and the week as a whole have done a great job in making the event worthwhile and the promise of next year being a little closer to “normal” will bring us back again I hope.
